The Black Bear Classic has emerged as one of the best events on the East Coast since its creation in 2014. Yearly, the Black Bear has brought a large amount of high-level travel teams, their families, and coaches/scouts to Greenville, SC. In 2022, Black Bear featured over 280 teams and had 100+ coaches/scouts in attendance.
Travel + Leisure called Greenville a “Top Place to Travel in 2018 (in the World).” Men’s Journal listed Greenville among its “Top 18 Coolest Towns in America.” Why the accolades? Greenville offers visitors a unique blend of traditional Southern charm and contemporary cool you won’t find anywhere else. Its award-winning, tree-lined Main Street buzzes with people, locally owned boutiques and 110+ inventive restaurants. Not to mention a ridiculously picturesque 32-acre park situated in the heart of downtown, with a breathtaking waterfall and a one-of-a-kind floating pedestrian bridge.

NOTE: Most hotel booking deadlines are 2 weeks prior to the tournament. After this time, team room blocks will no longer be available. Reservations cannot be made using redeemed reward points, brand or chain loyalty discounts, or other promotional rates such as AAA or government discounts. Hotels cannot be contacted directly to make reservations or room blocks.
