PLAYER PROMOTION
This is a player promotion tournament. Get your measurables recorded independently as a snapshot in time for your baseball journey.
Local college and MLB professional scouts have been invited and some have already confirmed they will attend some of our Championship games.
On the Wednesday evening before pool play and between pool play and bracket play, all players that want to participate in the Scouting Combine will have their picture taken, short video shot, and general bio information recorded including:
Picture in uniform
Player Bio
Height
Weight
Running Speed
Pitching Velocity
Bat Work Video – Soft Toss Swings
Running Video
Infield Work Video – A couple of ground balls
Players will be given an Authorized and Stamped Profile Card with their measurables (age, height, weight, speed and velocity) as part of their participation in this tournament.
Optional… Those that want can have their Player Combine Promotion posted online at www.BaseballScoutingCombine.com. This is a new website promoting youth baseball players wanting to get recruited or scouted and is launching January 1, 2024. Their Player Combine Promotion will include a picture, video, measurables, etc., may for $10/month, which can be cancelled at any time. Players/parents will receive a custom link to their online Player Combine Promotion.
BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
This BombSquad Scouting Combine Baseball Tournament is a 5+ Game Guarantee + 2 NEW game balls/game. Register as an Early Bird (one of 1st 4 teams) and you won’t be scheduled at 8:00 am on day one of the tournament.
Each team plays 4 pool play games, then ALL teams advance to a single elimination bracket.
We do play during the day everyday of the tournament starting as early as 9:00 am starting on Thursday morning. Teams registering should be available during all times on the scheduled days.
Schedules are posted one week before the tournament and we do not require you to use nor offer a hotel service.
You can register online in this website using your credit card, Paypal, or checking account. We use Paypal merchant services to process your credit card and electronic checking account payment.
We do charge a spectator’s fee of $10/day or a weekend pass at a discount for fans 7 and older.
This tournament will be played on high school fields in Porter and La Porte County Indiana, which is 60 miles east of Chicago and 50 miles west of South Bend.

THE DEAL
Teams want to play in tournaments with a nice quantity of teams. Early registration helps our overall registration. So here’s the deal to incentivize early registration… The first teams to register in this age group will only pay the heavily discounted sales price.
Also, the Early Bird Registrants, the first four teams to register on a weekend, will not be scheduled for 8:30am games on the first 2 days of the tournament.
