965 & MWC OVERVIEW
965 Tournaments and the Midwest Challenge have partnered up to bring more quality tournaments to travel baseball teams. At least 70% of the high school games from age 14u to 18u on college, turf, or stadium type fields. During covid this past year we ran nine tournaments from June to July and had about 500 teams throughout the Summer. 965 Midwest Challenge Baseball Tournaments Refund Policy
Refund Policy:
A) 0 games 75%
B) 1 Game 50%
C) 2 Games no refunds
If you want to be removed from the tournament 90 days before the event there will be a $250 admin fee for 5 games and a $200 admin fee for 4 game tournaments. 3 game tournaments there will be a $150.00 admin fee for high school tournaments. For youth tournaments, there will be a $75.00 admin fee.
FIELDS
Each high school tournament the goal is to have 75% to 80% of the games on college, turf, or stadium type fields. In 2019 we had 87% of all high school games on college, turf, or stadium type fields. The 87% included all age groups from 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u, and 18u. We even have had consolation games on these types of fields.

965 MIDWEST CHALLENGE BASEBALL TOURNAMENTS RULES
NFHS Rules are used with the following exceptions:
- HOME TEAM DETERMINATION
- In POOL PLAY, the Home Team is determined by a coin flip. During Championship Round games, the HIGHER SEED will be the Home Team. The Home Team is responsible for the official book and will record the start time which will be announced by the umpire before the first pitch. If seeds were not used, then a coin flip will determine Home Team.
- PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
- In all age divisions, your age on May 1st of that year will determine your eligibility OR
- Your High School Graduation Year
- If the team is found with an illegal player due to incorrect reporting of that players age or grade, that team will be KICKED OUT of the tournament and will forfeit ALL games with a score of 7-0
- A player is ONLY eligible to play for ONE Team per age group per weekend as long as they are rostered on both teams
