USABL was established in 1986 as the first youth amateur travel baseball league in New Jersey. The league has grown to become the largest travel program in the tri-state area with over 2,000 teams playing in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. USABL’s founder, Robert “Bob” Delahant, began the league as a way to get more competitive baseball to supplement his son’s Little League all-star team with extra games.
USABL offers competitive travel baseball for ages 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15/16, 16/18, 18 & Over, 28 & Over, 38 & Over.
The USABL goal is to offer players competitive and quality baseball, as well as all that comes with being on a team. We pride ourselves on giving players/teams a chance to teach good baseball and play competitive baseball at an early age. USABL held its first-ever USABL State Championship in Spring 2013 at the 13U age group, and it was a huge success. We plan to continue putting together the 13U State Championship and have plans to implement it in other age groups as well in 2014.
