Slammers – The Premier Youth Development Organization in Colorado
The Slammers Youth Program offers a comprehensive year-round option for development and training for players 7-14. Our Spring & Summer Program starts their training in January with games beginning in March and ending in July. The workouts will be held at two locations: Slammers North (located in Broomfield) and Slammers South (located in Centennial). All coaches and instructors for this program are hired and trained directly by Slammers staff.
The goal of this program is to provide each individual, and each team, specific training based on age, each player’s and teams’ ability. We will give every player consistent teaching day after day, year after year and coach after coach. Consistency is what matters the most when developing young athletes. This is what we have accomplished in the High School divisions with 95% of our players going on to play in College or Professional Baseball. In the youth program, the emphasis will vary depending on age but we will always strive to bring out the best in the most healthy and efficient way utilizing what we know based off of the kinematic sequencing.
We field at least one team at each age group ranging from 8 to 14 with 35 teams in 2021, 2022, 2023 and set for 36 teams in 2024. These teams will compete in-state in the Majors, AAA, and Open Divisions. We plan on playing in 12 tournaments per year with 1 to 3 of these tournaments being out of state tournaments depending on the level and age of the team.
