ABOUT MINNEAPOLIS MILLERS TRAVELING BASEBALL

A high-quality sports program – MYBA's main goal is to offer a higher level of competition for kids who truly love the game of Baseball.

  • The Millers are the home association to Minneapolis players - to play with the Millers, . 
  • Eligibility - In accordance with Metro Baseball League rules, Millers baseball is available to players who reside in the city of Minneapolis or attend a school within the Minneapolis Public Schools system.  For more information regarding verification documentation that may be required visit the residency checklist.
  • Ages - travel teams range from ages 9 - 15 that compete in metro-wide leagues, and statewide tournaments.
  • Open to kids of many athletic abilities - the Millers field travel teams at the "AAA” (A), “AA” (B) and "A" (C) levels. There's a good chance that any kid who loves baseball can play in MYBA.
  • Scholarships available - every effort is made to accommodate any athletic kid who is dedicated to learning the game of baseball.
  • Skills development - Millers travel teams emphasize development of fundamentals to prepare kids for a higher level of competition.
  • Tryouts - each year Millers Travel Team tryouts are held for 12-15U players in September.  Travel team 9U - 11U tryouts are held in February/March.
  • Travel Season - practices begin in late March/early April.  Game play begins typically in early May and ends in late July.
