Our annual event honors our 3-year-old organ donor hero, Ms. Ryan Grace, taken from us much too soon in September 2017. Local support in Oct. 2017 put together a fundraiser baseball tournament to assist my family with medical bills. Fast forward to my wife and I now hosting an annual event (2024 is the 8th annual.) We raised and donated just under $150,000 in our time of running the event. We have established a college scholarship fund given in Ryan's name. Each year we give away $20,000 in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have been impacted by organ/tissue donation.
We are an open roster event, with divisions 9u thru 14u, as well as a High School division. We hosted 64 teams in 2023, and 249 teams since 2020. One event per year the 2nd weekend of August; typically a preseason tournament to kick off your fall schedule.
