Wisconsin Premier Baseball Organization is the only program in Wisconsin that offers baseball from the 10U-18U. Following its mission, the organization is in place to give youth players a place and opportunity to grow and develop in the game of baseball, while playing against top competition.
The organization was created in 2009 as a winter travel program. Shortly after in 2010, under the direction of Greg Reinhard, the program was turned into a 501(c)3 non profit and into a full summer program. Tryouts for the program followed in August of 2010, and the full organization began play in April of 2011 as the Wisconsin RiverCats for 10U-14U and the GRB Rays for 15U-18U. Prior to the 2009 winter travel season, the Rays were only an upper level program. In 2013, the program adopted the name GRB Rays for all levels from 10U-18U. In addition, the second level of the program was created, the GRB Pirates.
In its short existence, Wisconsin Premier has become the top place to play in Wisconsin for the state’s finest players. The program consistently puts out collegiate players at the Division I, II, III, and JUCO levels.
